【摘要】:Thesulfatedashmaybeusedtoindicatethelevelofknownmetal-containingadditivesorimpuritiesinanorganicmaterial.Whenphosphorusisabsent,barium,calcium,magnesium,sodiumandpotassiumareconvertedtotheirsulfates.Tinandzincareconvertedtotheiroxides.Thisstandardmaybeusedforresearchanddevelopment,specificationacceptanceandqualityassurancepurposes.1.1Thisstandarddescribesthedeterminationofsulfatedashcontent(sometimescalledresidue-on-ignition)oforganicmaterialsbythermogravimetry.Themethodconvertscommonmetalsfoundinorganicmaterials(suchassodium,potassium,lithium,calcium,magnesium,zinc,andtin0intotheirsulfatesaltspermittingestimationoftheirtotalcontentassulfatesoroxides.Therangeofthetestmethodisfrom0.1to100%metalcontent.1.2SIvaluesarethestandards.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
