【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesatestprocedure,environmentandinstrumentationformeasuringtheexteriorsoundpressurelevelsfromroadvehiclesunderstationaryconditions,providingacontinuousmeasureofthesoundpressureleveloverarangeofenginespeeds.ThisInternationalStandardappliesonlytoroadvehiclesofcategoriesL,MandNequippedwithinternalcombustionengines.Themethodisdesignedtomeettherequirementsofsimplicityasfarastheyareconsistentwithreproducibilityofresultsundertheoperatingconditionsofthevehicle.ItiswithinthescopeofthisInternationalStandardtomeasurethestationaryA-weightedsoundpressurelevelduring--typeapprovalmeasurementsofvehicle;--measurementsatthemanufacturingstage;--measurementsatofficialtestingstations;--measurementsatroadsidetesting.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesneitheramethodtochecktheexhaustsoundpressurelevelwhentheengineisoperatedatrealisticloadsnoramethodtochecktheexhaustsoundpressurelevelsagainstageneralnoiselimitforcategoriesofroadvehicles.TechnicalbackgroundinformationisgiveninAnnexA.
