【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesgeneralrequirementsfortheconstruction,testingandperformanceofelectricallyoperatedapparatusforthedetectionofcombustiblegases,designedforcontinuousoperationinafixedinstallationindomesticpremises.Theapparatusmaybemainsorbatterypowered.Thisstandardspecifiestwotypesofapparatustooperateintheeventofanescapeoftowngas,naturalgasorliquefiedpetroleumgas(LPG).TypeAapparatus-toprovideavisualandaudiblealarmandanexecutiveactionintheformofanoutputsignalthatmayactuatedirectlyorindirectlyashut-offdeviceand/orotherancillarydevice.TypeBapparatus-toprovideavisualandaudiblealarmonly.Thestandardexcludesapparatus:-foruseinboats,caravansormobilehomes;-forthedetectionoftoxicgasessuchascarbonmonoxide(seeEN50291);-forindustrialorcommercialinstallationsforwhichEuropeanStandardsEN50054,EN50055,EN50056,EN50057andEN50058apply.NOTEApparatustestedinaccordancewithEN50054,etc.willnotnecessarilycomplywiththisstandard.
