【摘要】:Thisguidedescribeswhatparametersshouldbemeasuredandstoredtoobtainacompletesedimentandhydraulicdatasetthatcouldbeusedtocomputesedimenttransportusinganyprominentlyknownsediment-transportequations.Thecriteriawilladdressonlythecollectionofdataonnoncohesivesediment.Anoncohesivesedimentisonethatconsistsofdiscreteparticlesandwhosemovementdependsontheparticularpropertiesoftheparticlesthemselves(1).Thesepropertiescanincludeparticlesize,shape,density,andpositiononthestreambedwithrespecttootherparticles.Generally,sand,gravel,cobbles,andbouldersareconsideredtobenoncohesivesediments.1.1Thisguidecoverscriteriaforacompletesedimentdataset.1.2Thisguideprovidesguidelinesforthecollectionofnon-cohesivesedimentalluvialdata.1.3Thisguidedescribeswhatparametersshouldbemeasuredandstoredtoobtainacompletesedimentandhydraulicdatasetthatcouldbeusedtocomputesedimenttransportusinganyprominentlyknownsediment-transportequations.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
